Lol Hetalia

So I heard that some people regard Hetalia as a good way to learn history.
Lol.
Hetalia is a parody of history, aren't you supposed to first know history?
I'm not sure about historical inaccuracies, but I know for sure Hetalia is extremely selective in its portrayals of nations and history. While it is fact that Italy did poorly in WW2, but a big factor is that the Italians weren't motivated to fight in an unjust war. And the artist is obviously biased toward Japan, lol, Spain being the pedo, really?? REALLY??? Lol.
Also, if the Italians weren't complaining about this show, why should the Koreans be. The Korean protestors deftly avoid the issues about plagiarizing China's culture and history which the Hetalia Korea gets a major characteristic in (aka everything originated in Korea), because they feel it's true? Lol. Btw, it's always been Korea vs China vs Japan , whenever one country screws up, the other 2 would gang up and laugh, sad thing.
That said, Hetalia is definitely not an anime for children, with its stereotyping and very biased view of history, not to mention the mansex between countries (.....) . I feel it should be banned on Kids Station due to Korean protests.
I really enjoy Hetalia for the laughs. But seriously no it's not meant to be a way of learning history.

And Spain being a pedo just makes no sense, haha. I actually started liking Hetalia because of the fanbase. The fancomics were something awesome before it became popular and now it's just yaoi slash fanyay rubbish. Not that I have anything against it, but it used to be intelligent and satirical. Sigh.
And I would never let my kids watch this until at least high school. Not only because of the stereotypes, but because the characters are so animefied that they only vaguely resemble what people from the country look like, really being characterized by anime archetypes than anything else. If kids start to think [certain nationality] was really like the characters in Hetalia, it'll only end badly. XD
Thank you.
Hetalia somehow reminds me about the "theater with actors on stage, but pulled down curtains".
(sorry for my bad English)
That being said, although I've always been interested in History, Hetalia's made me more interested in actually taking a good look at it - and it's definitely made me more interested in 20th Century history and current international news stories than I would ever have been otherwise.
and the only reason it's based on stereotypes is because it's impossible to portray the characters easily enough through much. They rarely are shown with flags so people tend not to understand if there's no differential between characters.
it wasn't originally meant to be a children's cartoon, anyway. It was meant to be a silly political cartoon show about the countries' differences and their love/hate relationships with each other, but it being a cartoon made people think kids were supposed to watch and others never really noticed
